Delavan Paddle Sports

 

Delavan Paddle Sports offers kayak and paddleboard rental opportunities on Lake Comus. We provide the kayak or paddleboard, life jacket and paddle and you can go explore.

Lake Comus, a natural wonderland in the heart of the City, is located a few blocks from historic downtown Delavan. Come and experience this natural wonderland on one of our rental kayaks or paddleboards. Our boats and paddleboards are easy to use and our staff will provide you with the instruction necessary for an enjoyable experience on the lake. The quiet waters of Lake Comus offer a calm and relaxing water experience perfect for a casual paddle. Come and enjoy the water on one of our kayaks or paddleboards.

Delavan Paddle Sports Rental Season

Delavan Paddle Sports is open seven days a week during the summer season on Lake Comus. Our rental facility is located in the Mill Pond Building located at 109 Waterworks Dr.

Rental Season

June – August

Open 7 days a week
Monday through Friday:                 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays:       10:00 am – 7:00 pm
*Special 4th of July Hours:             10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Rental Rates

All rentals are for a 2-hour timeframe
Weekday (Monday – Friday):                          $15/boat
Weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Holidays):      $25/boat

10-Visit Pass

Our 10-visit pass is a great way to save money.  You get 10-2 hour rentals for any item in our fleet.   Bring the whole family down and paddle the day away.

10-Visit Pass $150 Discounted rates for a 10-visit pass are available for taxpayers to the Delavan-Darien School District.

Reservations

Reservations are not required but are recommended.  To make a reservation please stop by our rental location at 109 Waterworks Dr. or call 262.728.6397.  Reservations will not be accepted until the first day of operation for the season.

Private Rentals

Two-hour private rentals are available during Monday – Thursday for a minimum of 6 boats at a special group rate.  Groups must book at least a week in advance.  Please contact Tom at the Delavan Park and Recreation Department for more information by calling 262.728.5585.
